Supplies:
  • Boxwood greens
(or any greens available to you)
  • Wire hanger
  • Wire cutter
  • Needle nose pliers
  • Scissors
  • OXO Good Grip Garden Scissors
  • 24 Gauge green craft wire
  • Ribbon

Start by dismantling the wire hanger. Then, using your needle nose pliers, shape the hanger into the desired form for your wreath. For this project, I used a square and round form.

Cut the greens to the desired length using your garden scissors. Using craft wire, tightly attach two or three sprigs of boxwood to the form. Continue this procedure until the wreath is completely covered.

Tie a small loop on the back of your wreath to hang.

Secure the ribbon on the wreath with wire and hang.

Key tool used in this project is the OXO Good Grip Garden Scissors — it easily cuts an assortment of garden greens — even the low gauge wire used for this project. This tool, along with the OXO Floral Snips, is ideal for a multitude of crafting projects. They are by far the most comfortable tools for your garden and crafting projects. I love them!
